Who we are

BhuwanLabs is the Melbourne-based practice of Bhuwan Aryal. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through bhuwanlabs.com and in the course of working with clients. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Details you give us: your name, email address, company, and anything you tell us when you book a call or get in touch.

Usage data: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected by our analytics tool, PostHog, using cookies or similar storage.

How we use it

To reply to inquiries, run discovery calls, prepare proposals, and deliver work you engage us for.

To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Client data in the systems we build

Documents and data you share for a project are used only to build and run your system. Once your system is built, your client data stays inside your own AWS account and BhuwanLabs keeps no copy.

Calls, documents and material you share while we plan and build your system are used only for that work, then deleted or returned at your request.

We never use your data to train any AI model. The exact handling terms are in your engagement agreement.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the services we rely on store data outside Australia. Website analytics are processed by PostHog in the United States, and call bookings are handled by Cal.com, which may also store data overseas. Our website host may serve and log requests from servers outside Australia. We choose providers that publish their own security and privacy commitments.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorized access, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing bhuwan@bhuwanlabs.com or through the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
